Yes, Yoga is in FULL swing in the park and I LOVE it! You have got to try it. For me it is totally refreshing and an awesome way to get in exercise especially if you have physical challenges or do not enjoy walking or running. Now the Georgia heat has “encouraged” the classes to be moved to mornings in both locations hosted by Sweet Escapes Yoga. Here is what you will NEED to function.
~ Yoga mat {Comfortable one or a BIG beach towel will do.}
~ Sunscreen {Yes, everyone and every skin tone needs sunscreen.}
~ Towel {A thick hand towel or towel will do to wipe your sweat.}
~ Loose Clothing {Make sure they are comfortable workout clothes.}
~ Water to stay hydrated. {I personally suggest tons of ice with a little water. Trust me it will all be cool water when you really need it.}
There are two session coming up in July. One this Saturday at Circle 75 Park and one on the 20th at Tanyard Creek Park. Outdoor yoga gives you a unique opportunity to move and meditate while enjoying the serenity of the sky, warmth of the sun, sensation of the breeze and peace as you become one with nature.
