Oh yes! Oh yes! The Mazda 6 is EVERYTHING! Back in late September I was afforded the pleasant opportunity to test drive the 2015 Mazda 6 and let me tell you I almost had a car note! Lol… Seriously! That car did everything and then some. Words I would use to describe my experience the sleek, smooth, sweet, relaxing, hot and everything! I do mean everything.
The Mazda advance key system was pretty cool once I got use to it. There are a few safety features which help this stand out and they can be a little tricky. The moonroof was nice and the Bose and Satellite radio system even had Pandora! So as a rode through the streets of Atlanta I pumped Jill Scott, KEM, Iggy and more. I was in my element giving fellow Wordsmiths a ride to and from the Type A conference.
Learned a lot about this amazing feature called SKYACTIV! Did I say Ahhhmazzing. According Wikipedia and Mazda SKYACTIV is a brand name for a series of technologies developed by Mazda which increase fuel efficiency and engine output. The initial announcement of the SKYACTIV technologies include new engines, transmissions, body, and chassis, which appeared in Mazda products from 2011. Well, in Kimberlyland it is a sweet harmony of safety between the engine, brakes, transmissions and chassis which keep you safe and sound.
The features I enjoyed the most were as follows:
Blind Spot Monitoring ~ These tells you every single time something is in your blind spot with the most unique Bing.
Headlights ~ They move with your actual turns! Imagine someone running deep to light the road before you.
Radar Cruise Control ~ This is a BEAST and so control. You do not have to keep resetting it. Set it once and you are good until you set it again.
Tom Tom Navigation ~ I fell in LOVE with the different voice selections. Took me back to my trucking days of riding shot gun.
32 MPG ~ I rode the same tank of gas for seven days in the city! Amazing. I usually go two tanks of gas a week.
I loved this Mazda 6. Yes, this one to be exact. The leather interior and the hint of red piping in the off white leather seats had me sold! I tell you Mazda almost had me with a car note. Seriously!
