Yes, I could not resist this story much like I cannot resist Grey’s Anatomy. Patrick Dempsey aka McDreamy pulled yet another heroic move to save something and over 500+ some ones. Dempsey bid and won his bid for Seattle based Tully coffee. The struggling coffee chain filed for bankruptcy last October. Dempsey’s company won the bid at $9.15 million out beating six other bidders including Starbucks.

“It was a brand that needed to be preserved. There were 500 jobs at stake and it just felt right,” Dempsey told CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront” on Friday. “I’m really excited about this.”

The “Seattle Grace Hospital” family will be holding a Tully’s cup in the very near future I am sure! Product placement is a perk!!
